Javen Lee Blankenship

is a graduate from Radford University (concentration in Production technology; minor in Creative Writing) fusing marquee ambitions with modern inspirations.

My favorite aspect of film and photography is collaboration. I love connecting, creating, & learning with driven people who intertwine ambition and style. I'm interested in delivering a project representative of collaboration, not simply hitting the shutter button.

For photography, I love crowded festivals and streets. There's a rush to capturing character within those environments. In studio environments, I'm moving towards compositions based on paintings and unorthodox poses.

For directing and filming, I tend to think editing bay first - I want dynamic and representative footage before I even pickup the camera. Moving forward, many of my music videos and promos will be more narrative focused, capturing emotion on a fresh and surreal scale.
